Unfortunately, it only has a five percent chance of appearing. Alternatively, players can head into the Grand Underground and find a Swinub in several dens. Players can unlock access to the Grand Underground after speaking with the Underground Man in Eterna City. He will give the player the Explorer's Kit; a Key Item used to go into the Grand Underground. Swinub can be found within Whiteout Cave, Swampy Cave, Icy Cave, Glacial Cave, and Bogsunk Cavern of the Grand Underground.

Once Swinub evolves into Piloswine, the Pokémon must learn or know Ancient Power, a Rock-type move. If Piloswine already knows Ancient Power at this point, the next time the Pokémon levels up, it will evolve into Mamoswine.

Piloswine naturally learns this move. But if it doesn’t know this move, you’ll be unable to evolve it. You’ll need to make sure you have a Heart Scale to exchange with the Move Relearner to reteach Piloswine the move.
